Steve Miller, OD
Family Practice Optometry
Steve P. Miller, OD is an optometrist who practices general optometry serving all ages. His areas of special interest include contact lenses, ocular disease -- including glaucoma -- and surgical comanagement.
Dr. Miller was born and raised in Hutchinson, KS. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas and his optometry degree from Indiana University. Dr. Miller completed training at the Kraff Eye Institute in Chicago and the VA Joint Ambulatory Care Center in Pensacola, FL. An an optometry student, Dr. Miller was awarded the Jack W. Bennett Humanitarian Award by the Indiana Optometric Association for his work in mission-related eye care in Honduras with the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists. He was also voted Associate Instructor of the Year in teaching Ophthalmic Optics, and was the president of the IU chapter of Fellowship of Christian Optometrists.
After graduating in 2005, Dr. Miller opened his solo practice in Buhler. He joined Grene Vision Group in 2016 and serves patients at the GVG locations in Buhler and Hutchinson-West.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Miller and his wife, Stephanie, try to keep up with their six children. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, hunting and fishing. He and his family are heavily involved with their church.
